They're carving out a section of the South EZ seats for an on-field standing-room section for fans.  But this means that the visiting team field entrance will be moved and "de-emphasized".  See that narrow little port just to the left of where the Pride sits?  That's going to be the new visitors entrance.  Which means that while the Vols are running through the T, the other team will have to walk out single-file and take an immediate right turn to get to their sideline.  Most of the stadium probably won't even notice them.

I thought the reason for South End modifications was to move the wall back for player safety. Something about the NCAA requirements for obstructions from the playing field. That and they are adding a field level fan lounge with glass front for viewing. Or have they changed those plans?

There is a lounge, but fans will be able to walk straight out of it to a fenced-off area behind the EZ.  It will still be farther back than the current wall.

Right smack dab between the drunken, spitting, seething students and the blaring POTS.  Gotta be less welcoming than the tamer crowd surrounding their old entrance.
