Hey, I'm going to Italy next Summer.  Any ideas on wine regions to visit?

I expect that there are great wines all over Italy. My friends went and said some of the best wines were those that were local wines which were never exported.

I like wines from the Veneto region. That's where Verona is. Drink the Amarone. Of course, there's Tuscany (Rome). Or drink some Barolo from the Piedmont region (Turin).

Visit them all, drink them all.
