At the snap both safeties were within 25 yards of the LOS

My comment before the snap was Whiskey Tangle Foxtrot

Former Auburn coach Gene Chizek questioned the alignment also.  Said he would have dropped them deeper.

Players have commented they were defending against mid range pass to set up FG.   Chizek stated that even for that, they should have been deeper.

Our coaches are clueless...that's why. But the only explanation is they thought they would try to complete a 30 yarder for a FG chance. Butch would have taken a knee and sent it to overtime.....Coach Mac showed he had the balls to go for the win.

Six in the box and 5 DBs.  Just read that Butch said we could only go 5 deep because of injuries.  That may piss me off more than any single thing Butch has ever said.  Ever think to pull one of those six in  the box and maybe set a Marquez Callaway on the goal line?  Apparently that is not in the coaching book, not on the chart, and not covered by cliche, so unthinkable.  I have tried to be a Butch supporter, but I am done.
