He said "I told the defense I wanted to make them quit and empty the stadium."  Mission Accomplished. I got this from the rivals board. It was in response to Jumper saying "UGa is not as good as we made them".

Jumper is correct. 5 to 1 turnover ratio is what made it so lopsided.

But who cares, it was embarrasing regardless.

Smart isn’t an idiot. He knew the state of the UT fan base and knew it wouldn’t take much to cause the stadium to empty. Nor would it take much to make Tennessee five up.

Yes, and that's all very unfortunate, but I think you are giving Smith too much credit, unfortunately. 

Our team can play way better than they did, and in addition to that the ball bounced their way every single time, with the exception of the one TO that our center saw fit to immediately give back.

Smart looks like he's shaping up to be  a good coach, but we helped him considerably.

As for Jumper, I appreciate him taking responsibility, but he probably shouldn't mention the other team at all.  Not after 41-0.
