Lot of smoke but no visible signs of a fire, yet

All men dream: but not equally.

Wake in the day to find that it was vanity; but the
Dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they
May act their dream with open eyes, to make it Possible.
This I did.

Whether it happens today or next week or whenever, Currie needs to make it perfectly clear that the interim coach is just that- interim.  Properly motivated and with a modicum of coaching, this team is perfectly capable of running the table after next week.  Some players will probably rally around and lobby to keep Scott/Shoop/Hoke/whomever in the permanent role.  Currie should NOT fall for that trap.  We don't need an Orgeron situation here.

Trusted soucrce told me that after the game yesterday Beverly Davenport told several big donor types that she thinks that Butch "is doing a fine job with the program".

I fear that she is going to be a problem.

I have a very good inside source that told me point blank that Botch Jones will not be the UT coach in 2025. No questions please!

Jon Gruden told me himself that he thinks Butch makes it to 2025.  This was after he bought his 7th house in Knoxville yesterday
after the game.

Please tell me Herb is kidding. BTW, I'm fine if Butch coaches at Bama, and is relieved immediately thereafter.

It may come after bammer, but I suspect CWs hunch about Kentucky may be correct.

We should be able to handle Kentucky, but unfortunately I have little confidence that we will.

I wish I could tell you that I am.  But those words came from her.

Now, just how much say so she actually has is yet to be determined.  Those who write the checks generally trump the academians.  We'll see if that prevails this time or not.

No.  Butch left Cincinnati just as Davenport was arriving.
