Yes, but I can't let this go without pointing out two things:

1. Fans were clamoring for him to start, in the Swamp, against Florida, without having ever played a down of college football, and to his discredit, Butch caved to them.

2. Said fans were then convinced that, in spite of only having one bad half against Florida to judge by (subsequent action being simply ignored), Peterman was then judged to be "the worst coach in Tennessee history".


Which goes to show, you need leadership that does what's right, which is not always and perhaps seldom what the fans want.
