It's almost Kiffin time.

I'm pretty sure he would take the job. And as much as it pains me to say....we could do a lot worse.

I'd rather have Miles. I don't think I could stomach Kiffy.

Seriously, I agree.  There are others I would want first, but I'd be happy to get him back.  I am going to sign the petition, whatever good that will do.....(I was #9640, FWIW! Wooooo)

I would become an Aubie fan and leave UT behind.  That's how mad I would be if that happened.

Louisville is my second team.  I was way beyond p.o.ed when they brought Bobby back.  But Bobby Petrino is a changed man--personally--not as a football coach.  I have grown to respect Bobby, his family, his foundation, and his willingness to admit his faults and address them.

So, I have no problem bringing Lane back, but I am not as sure as you that he would accept.  I hope we get a chance to find out.

I'm not so sure if he'd accept either, and if he turned us down, the little bitch would roast us online on his twitter forever ad infinitum!

NO! How soon we forget! Guys do you feed off getting punked? It's the twilight zone. Here is a practical question.... just how long of a honeymoon do you think kiffin will get? What a BAD idea.

If we have run out of options, I choose Tee Martin. Kiffiin is a low-life..I will not finish. There may be children present.

I believe I already posted this but it bears repeating.... In a country of 340 million people I refuse to believe our only option is Lane kiffin. The man was cruising like gangbusters here and after just the first year. Kicking tail in recruiting also... Then he did something stupid. He wouldn't even listen to his father tell him what a bad idea it was to leave. I want this program to excell. But how can you and in good conscience how can you ask your fellow vol fans, to trust this guy again?

Agree with everything but your description of his first yeat.  7-6 is not "cruising" by a long shot.

And in retrospect, even his recruitign classes were not that great.

I don't really understand why people think his one year here was good, let along great.  It was at best mediocre.

I guess it comes from two things...he was such a contrast to Fulmer that people appreciate the breath of fresh air, and also he is perhaps the greatest salesman in the football coaching profession.  Possibly in the history of the game.
