I've only heard that hers is not, but Currie's is.

Life is a series of choices, one after the other. Making those choices is often the easiest part. Living with poor choices is almost always the most difficult part.

If that's true, he made that choice on his own - at last from a legal standpoint.

Currie had options. He made his choices. He must live with the consequences.
