I won't have to watch Colton Jumper trail a play by two yards and pile on at the end.

He sure did take some good angles though.

Seriously, if nothing else, I suspect we won't be questioning Pruitt's personnel decisions.

As you especially know, giving everything he's got is all you can ask for.

I don't agree.  I think there were some others who were better.

Having said that, i do appreciate his effort and love of the University.

He was on the field because his dad was a huge donor, and in turn it kept a better player off the field AND consumed a scholarship as well. He's the only player that I don't feel obligated to appreciate

The backers who redshirted were more talented

WE did not see the redshirt players play. We just hope they are more talented. We have a number of players who are not as talented as we were led to believe.

Talent cannot always overcome poor or non-existent coaching. Having coaches that hold a grudge or dislike for you can keep you from playing. Not preparing backups to play until throwing them to the lions because of injury is never a good plan. Running off stars simply because you get mad at them. You cannot have that many prima donnas leave and not be at least a factor in their leaving. So no I do not buy into all the players that left were bad apples or not tough minded enough. I think they saw Butch for the bully that he was and got away before lashing back. Some may have told him off and thus got on his bad list.

I questioned Butch's player choice a lot of the time. I really questioned his selection and retention of assistant coaches. His stock answer of "They did not practice well" is more a coaches admission that I cannot recognize talent and ability IMO.
