I will be leaving the office at 11:30 today. With one day off for a holiday and another day off for a snow day I've worked a grueling 2 1/2 days. I'm exhausted.

Day 8 of snow and ice on the ground and roads here. Gonna be 44 degrees here today so let the thaw begin. Sunday high 62 and thunderstorms....only in West Tn. can it go from highs all week in the teens and low 20's....lows at night between 0 and 8 degrees and then jump to the 60's and thunderstorms. Thank gosh I've been able to keep my 'Beer Frig' stocked to the hilt the last 8 days.

You obviously haven't lived in S. Dakota. Our weather goes from extremes like that very quickly as well. It's just the cold is colder. Brrr.

I had a holiday and TWO weather days, plus a one hour delay on Thursday.  So I have worked only 1 7/8ths of a day this week.  Got ya beat!   

But even better, as an employee of the fedrul guvmint, I may get a 2-3 week paid vacation starting Monday at noon, courtesy of the US Congress. 

Officially I hate that,because it's a bad deal for the taxpayers.  Unofficially.....
