4 years.  That means no coaches will be let go for any reason until 2022.

Herb and LV might be correct.

But Phil played hard ball to get the head coaching job (loyalty be damned) and did so again to get the AD job.  If he sees it to be in his best interest to fire a friend, I expect he could do it.
