If the HOH is behind this, Fulmer will be next.

So....

1.  You're a terrible communicator.

2.  You will be appointed as a professor of communications.

I haven't been keeping up with the politics at UT. Is this bad or good? I'm assuming it's Athletic Department related!!???

I don't really know if she was good at her job, but I think it's certainly bad for there to have been so much change in leadership at UT in the last decade for sure.

Something I've always thought was odd, not that it matters really.. but the way she spent so much time speaking herself at Pruitt's introductory presser.  Like she had to have the attention first.

I know nothing about her work as chancellor. However, UT may be best served by going the good old boy route. Here's why.

1) We'll never win academic snobbery points, and that's fine. There's no need to play that game.

2) Go the Joe Johnson route, and hire someone who loves the school and is a solid administrator.

Hopefully this has more to do with the TN legislature cleaning house than anything else - especially anything to do with Haslam.  I saw some rumor that this firing was tied to Haslam pulling back donations to the Neyland renovation - but as far as I know that is PURE RUMOR.  I thought Davenport should be commended for saving the day by bringing Fulmer in.  I don't lay blame for the mess that preceded that needed saving all on her.  She fixed things in a big way and should have been given a little slack because of that.

Wow.  Just wow.  I saw a tweet saying something about a chancellor replacement while I was getting rained on at the Kentucky Derby (rainiest Derby in 144 runnings!), but really couldn't pay attention, was trying to keep from drowning.

I wasn't impressed with her resume and thought at the time we could do better, but agree with the sentiments that this is too much leadership turnover.

Agree that bringing back Joe Johnson would be excellent.  He's up there in years, but might could manage it for 5 more.
