Between that, Acuna's first home games, Soroka's first home start on Sunday, and the Braves in first place for the first time in years, this short 3 game homestand with SF figures to be the most anticipated games in ATL in a long, long time.

I don't know if this team will still be contending in September or not, but they sure are entertaining. The Braves had some 100 win teams in the 90's that weren't this fun to watch.

Can't  say that I am excited about Bautista in the lineup. The guy is a punk thug.

I've never liked him either, but supposedly he's really good in the clubhouse.

At any rate, I don't think he'll be in ATL for long unless he just rakes. Austin Riley looks to be ready by midseason, and they won't block him.

The punk thug is gone.  Good riddance.

Yep, had to be done. It looked like his power stroke was starting to come around, but he continued to come up small in important situations (Friday night, for example) and his defense was terrible.

Last night's great performance notwithstanding, I don't think Camargo is a long-term answer at 3B, either. I think we're going to see Austin Riley in Atlanta soon, maybe before the All-Star break.
