I know he showed flashes, but never had the opportunity to flourish because of injury. Could be better for both parties. Also, I think UT ultimately gets Kennedy from bama 👍

Hard not to think what could've been, but I barely even remember him playing for us... He was out so much.

Hate to see him go....but not sure he fit in the 3-4 defense. Wish him the best.

Was very good when he did play, seems like a loss, but Pruitt does know defense.  I expect a big improvement in our D, which isn't saying much.

Anyway, good luck Mr. Kirkland.

Word is Kirkland and Pruitt had a long talk....It will be a plus if he doesn't transfer.

Yeah, I hope so.  I was thrown off by some of the comments above implying he didn't do much anyway due to injury.  That was true in 16 and 17, but when I looked back into it in detail, in 2015 he had a monster season.  I'd love to keep him in Orange.

Yeah that was the thing, he had ALL SEC written all over him after his debut season but after that he couldn't stay on the field. 

Really glad he's staying though.
