I was looking at Street and Smith's college football preseason issue.

They pick the Vols 4th in the East. They have Uga, USCe, UF and us in that order. Followed by Mizzou, UK and Vandy.  Anyone agree or disagree with this? USCe at the second spot was interesting.

Unfortunately for this first year of the Pruitt regime,t hat's ptobably realistic.  Hope I'm wrong, but 4th might even be ambitious.

Given the shape of the program, I think fourth is generous. Pruitt is going to have to prove to be a heck of a good coach to finish fourth or better in the East in Year 1. I hope he proves to be just that...but Butch Jones sucked all the optimism out of my big orange soul.

Jut looking at our first seven games, I can easily see us 2-5. I feel hopeful that we will win a game against someone other than the first two cupcakes on the schedule in those seven. UF would be my best bet for us to beat. We will see how Mullen has them playing. They could be tough if they get some offense to go along with their defense. We struggle against them no matter what they put on the field....see last year.
