I actually welcome this, as it should highlight just how far our program has fallen, and make crystal clear exactly what needs to be done.

Do you really expect Fulmer would ever fire Holly? Just like any of his assistant coaches, Fulmer was too loyal to fire them so he will stick with Holly until he gets fired. Again.

Face it. The Lady Vols are doomed to be a 2nd, maybe 3rd tier program as long as Holly is there. She has hired or retained defense and offenseive coaches that still coach like it was 1999.

Probably not. But I think a big contingent of the "keep Holly" crowd is the group of long-time fans who demand that we keep ties with Pat by employing her protege. Those fans remember the glory years, and during those days, UConn was the measuring stick. We always knew where we stood by how we performed against UConn. Well, that measuring stick has been missing for over a decade now. So I'm not sure some realize just how far we've sunk.

That past few years, we wouldn't have come within 40 points of that team. And unless something drastically changes before 2019, we won't then, either. So maybe when some of these people see the 101-59 final score right in front of their face, it'll jar them to their senses and wake them up to just how far we've fallen. Maybe if those people start putting the pressure on to make a move, it'll finally happen.

LV were a 7th seed in the SEC tourney. Let that sink in. She lost me as a supporter for good with the Notre Dame choke game. I think she will waste these recruiting classes like Butch did.

It'll be ugly, but this will show us where we are.
