They can and do get separation.
Callaway is very good at getting open and also using his hands to get that separation.
Palmer created a PI penalty by just moving into a corner then twisting away from the resulting hold.  BTW, no way in hell he catches the pass.
Jennings is just a baller.period.dot.

Their routes, for the most part, are much crisper
In warmups Palmer ran a very crisp slant with a nice leg plant.  Said at the time if he ran that route in the game he would be open.  He did, and he was.
Jennings ran at least two really nice square ins for completions.

This is where I have big issues with our OC and his Scott level play calling.....You get Gitmo away from pressure...roll him out more like Kiffin did with the Wormburner....Also get Gitmo in the shotgun 99% of the time and call quick hitters to the backs and WRs to put the defense and pass rush on their heels then take some shots downfield ....When you have a bad OL...putting him under center and having a 5 step drop is the last thing to do...Pruitt needs to have a Sunday alter call with Helton today.

I kept saying... “ why the hell are you not rolling when your O line is getting your QB kilt.

Agree on the rolling out, and I recall it working for Crompton as well.
