...no matter how bad it gets, it will STILL be less depressing than watching the Senate Judicial Committee shizzle all over the Bill of Rights the past couple days. So, you know- silver linings.

Although i have to say, in his last 2-3 seasons his comedic value went up steadily.

Danielson drives me as crazy as Verne did.....It's time for him to go. He tries to make every play dramatic. A player could cross the goal line with the ball in hand....go out of the back of the end zone with the ball still in his hands...throw the ball into the stands and Danielson would say......Did he fumble the ball into the stands?? I think he might have....they need to take a look at that becasue it sure looks like he fumble that ball up into the stands.....Drives me nuts!

huh.  Danielson doesn't bother me, is usually very knowledgeable.  One of the more informed announcers around.

But now that you mention it he does exaggerate how close things are.  And that can be annoying.
