31-9 mid 4th quarter

There was little doubt for me that they would, but that didn't keep a whole lot of talking heads including Finebaum from suggesting they might lose.  Ridiculous.  For all the talk that they are down, Auburn's losses are a narrow one to LSU, the second best West team, a loss on the road to MSU and the loss to us.

The loss to MSU was worse than it should have been, or should not have been a loss, but MSU is a solid team, 3rd or 4th best in the West.

Which leaves their loss to us as the "worst one".  but here's something to consider....maybe Tennessee is now starting to be more like a mid-pack team like MSU and less like a cellar dweller like Ole Miss.   It's too early to tell, and we might have to wait till November to see, but in the meantime I am very encouraged with our progress.
