I'll be in NYC when the Vols are playing Louisville. I think I'll go. Anybody have experience with something like the preseason NIT? Appears tickets are plentiful. Should be able to buy them on gameday.

I've never been. But it always looks pretty empty on TV, unless a local team ('Cuse) or a big bandwagon team (Duke/UK) is playing. I would think tickets should be pretty easy to come by.

I've not gone to many basketball games. I saw the Vols play a few times in Rupp when I lived in KY, and saw them at Vandy years ago. The last time I saw a Vol team play in the state of New York (Syracuse '98) the Vols won the national championship. Would love to see a similar outcome this year
