...hitting about a thousand contested 3s. We're actually defending pretty well, they're just pulling these shots out of their ass. If they can keep this up in the second half, they deserve to win. But I don't think they can.

50% from the 3.....They have a light bench hope we can wear them down in the 2nd half.

Yep. They started to cool off shortly after I posted this. I think they were like 7-9 from 3 at one point.

I think this is going to be a fun but stressful season. Especially if they play like they have in the past and play bad against bad teams and make games they should win easy nail-biters.

Well obviously rankings don't mean a thing at this point in the season (or ANY point in the season, really). This L'ville team passes the eye test for me. They'll win a lot of games this year, especially if they continue to shoot like this.

One thing is for sure this Vol team has some great depth. Nice to have when playing the top ranked boys.

Yep. And we play them in a few weeks. If they hold on against Duke, and we hold on tonight and then beat Kansas, that could conceivably be a #1 vs #2 matchup.

To be honest. I hope Kansas wins tonight against Marquette. We can see what we got real quick. It will be a tough matchup on Friday.

That last 10 minutes was just dominance on both ends. More of that, please.

Really glad to get one against L'ville. We owe them about 10 more, as they seemed to make us miserable every season in the 2000's.
