Quite frankly, the Christmas dinners/parties burned me out.

On New Year's Eve I stay home and drink fine champagne, watch football and listen to the stereo.

I might be getting old, but I don't care. I like what I like.

I tell you this because I knew you wanted to know.

We lost our 11 year old cairn terrier yesterday.... had her since she was 9 weeks old.   I went to bed at 9 last night.   I don't care for New Year's eve anyway because I lost my mom 2 years ago on NYE.... this year we lose our baby girl Daisy.   I'm done celebrating this night I think.

Sorry to hear that RGV.....We lost our 15 year old black lab Thanksgiving night 2017 and it's tough. No matter how good or bad a day you have a loving pet makes it better. Here's hoping your days ahead are better!

At 60, we are stay at home on NYE, too.  Enjoyed a nice Maduro and some Kentucky Rye Whiskey to welcome in the new year.
