Hey- let me preface my post with this- I truly come in peace. Just wondering what's up with this guy? Just read in the AJC this AM that he is in the portal and is looking at/down to UGA and Ohio State. Just wondering what's up with this guy/why he is leaving UT? Thanks for your candid comments. I know TE is a big time need for us, at the moment, since we lost two (to the pros/transfer), and another is coming off major injury. Just curious. Thanks in advance for your comments. Congratulations on having a very nice recruiting class, and picking up some rather big names yesterday. I think Pruitt is the real deal.

I don't know the whole story but I know he got recruited over so maybe playing time was a concern.  We've got a really good starting TE right now.

Good kid but very lite in the britches....Pruitt wants his TE's to block well and he was bad at it, probably because he was so undersized. He caught very few passes in his career here. IIRC he started out here as a walkon.
