They had a 20 point lead in the second half against Duke and gave it away.

Turnover after turnover. They would throw bad passes, fumble the ball away and even just fall down.

They looked like they had no idea how to close out the game and it just snowballed into an unbelievable loss.

It looked like Louisville had forgotten how to play the game of basketball.  Unreal.

With 9:41 to go, Duke had 36 points.

Chris Mack has to take a lot of the credit for this meltdown, imo. They tried to dribble the sideline against a 2-2-1 press? Really? Nobody in the middle against the pressure. When they did get it into the front court it was a comedy of errors the last 9 minutes. They stopped attacking on offense and trying to score. Seemed they were trying to simply run out the clock.

Unbelievable meltdown.

Give Duke credit. They did not quit.

When Duke got it to 14 points with about 6:24 left I told my wife that Duke is about to win this game. Louisville was lost and had no leadership on the floor. Their youth and inexperience couldn't stop the Duke snowball rolling downhill.

Nobody wanted the ball once Duke pressed. That is where you need experienced guards.
