They still make too many mistakes. They have a hard time coming out and playing their A game. They let these lesser teams hang around to long. Plus they get lazy on defense. They should still pull away in the second half. I shouldn't complain so much. Virginia is having a struggle with  Gardner Webb.

They shoot the 3 very well. Tennessee knew that going in - not really a surprise - and almost everyone we play seems to have season high 3-pt shooting games against us. Gotta keep defending and get by this game.

Why don't we attack inside? Use our size a little. Especially when they are man to man.

Everyone seems to go off from 3 on us. Granted, their pace right now is scorching but personally I'm not completely surprised.

We are too inconsistent in all phases of the game.

I don't think Iowa will be any harder than these guys were. Welp it's a win. Next!

when Lamonte started guarding Burns, his 3-point percentage went down.  Prior to the switch, he was 6/7, which is unreal.  Lamonte is our best defender, maybe Barnes should have made the switch earlier but better late than never.

Colgate started setting picks on Lamonte and that isolated Burns on Alexander a couple of times and he scored inside both times.  He's a very good player, could probably start at most schools in the country.

Colgate packed the inside and dared us to shoot threes, and for a long stretch of the game we didn't have an answer.  At one point our FG % was 27%  .  But our veteran player Schofield came through when it counted,

We survived, bring on Iowa....

Just unreal the teams we play hits 3's from the parking lot. Even teams that don't shoot 3's makes them against us. That Burns kid today was 8-13 from the 3 with 32 points.

We better prepare for that packed in zone....We fixen to see more of it. That defense reminded me of how Virginia plays their D but with much better athletes.

It just seems they struggle no matter who they play. Unless its KY, they don't come out with the same intensity night in night out.

Yeah, I thought that myself.  Iowa may try that.  I hope our players practice their 3s tomorrow.

Give Colgate some credit, they played really well.  It's the tourney, anything can happen.
