...Pretty nice little weekend on Rocky Top.

Yeah, the LVs lost, but we all expected that. And if it hastens the hiring of a new coach, that can be good thing too.

The softball team has been a pleasant surprise. This was supposed to be a bit of a rebuilding year, but that freshman class looks pretty special.

Man, it's been so long since baseball was relevant in SEC play that it seems like forever. Seems like every year they look good in non-conference play and get our hopes up, then crash and burn once SEC play gets started. As good as the SEC is now, if/when we get relevant, it's gonna be a lot of fun.

Man, it's been so long since baseball was relevant in SEC play that it seems like forever. Seems like every year they look good in non-conference play and get our hopes up, then crash and burn once SEC play gets started. As good as the SEC is now, if/when we get relevant, it's gonna be a lot of fun.

It would be nice if they could start drawing big enough crowds to justify some REAL improvements to LNS. We have some of the worst facilities in the SEC, and we're never going to recruit well enough to remain competitive until we remedy that.

And losing one of the best players (Shipman) to a season ending injury a couple of weeks ago hurt.
