Yeah, shoving Peyton out the door a couple years early worked really well for them.

Well, for him, actually.

Luck’s a good dude. I don’t fault him for anything.

But I LOL at Jim Irsay, who cast shade on Peyton for “only” winning one Super Bowl (in Indy), while predicting that Luck would win several.🤣

Agree.  I like Luck actually, heck I like the Colts.  Definitely taking a shot at Irsay.

JMO, but I think the Colts are paying Luck all his salary as an injury payout to compensate for the horrible teams they put around him that allowed him to be beat to a pulp those early years. The money they are paying is likely less than a jury would award him. I understand why he said he retired. Listen carefully to the way he worded it. He lost the joy of the game. The pain he has suffered at the malfeasance the Colt GM and Irsay inflicted on him cannot be compensated with money. Welcome to retirement Andrew. Nothing is as important as your mental and physical health. Nothing.

I do not blame Luck at all. Did you see Gronks comments. That was sad. I have said it many times watching football, as big and fast as athletes are these days you will see a hit and wonder how the guy is able to stand back up. I think athletes are getting smarter about their health and will play long enough to have enough money and get out. It is a brutal game. But that's what we love about it.
