Corbyn says he won't lead Labour into another election but won't say when he'll resign or when a new election for Labour leader would be scheduled.  Given his actions after the last set of local (council) elections it might take a couple tons of C4 to get him out

BTW, interesting tidbit.  When a general election is called the House of Commons is dismissed for 30 days to campaign.  Essentially, the UK has no formal government - their equivalent of the federal civil service runs the show
