All men dream: but not equally.
Those who Dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds
Wake in the day to find that it was vanity; but the
Dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they
May act their dream with open eyes, to make it Possible.
This I did.

Hard to forget Biff. We (my family) used to fly to Atlanta see the Braves several times a year. Loved to hear the announcer say BIFF POCOROBA. Sorry to hear of his death. 66 is pretty young.

Biff Pocoroba and Matt Sinatro: two catchers who weren’t good enough to beat out Bruce Freaking Benedict.

Catcher wasn’t exactly an organizational strength in those days.

Benedict had a few "decent" years. He was no Johnny Bench. Murphy was a keeper though.

Benedict was terrific defensively, just not great with a bat. Our paths crossed 20 years ago, and he was super nice.
