I like our chances Saturday. Pound the rock and let that big O-line wear on jaw jaw's D the whole game.
Maybe luck will bounce our way on a fumble or two on defense as well with the heavy rains and sloppy field.. Go Vols!

This program is past due for a BIG win. They almost had one last year at Bama and have made a lot of improvement since that game.
They finally have the players and depth to compete in this league and great coaching. I think it will come down to who wants it the most on Saturday and I know the Vols are hungry. Time to see what they are made of and if they can finally turn the corner.

Dawgs D is VERY good. Bennett is good but not elite. I think the key is we have to score TDs, slow Ga's run game and put pressure on Bennett to match our scores...I think he's susceptible to TOs if we can pressure him and not give him all day to find a receiver (he seemed to be a decent runner too). We simply can't allow the Dawgs to pound the ball and on offense we have to mix up our play calling better IMO so we can run effectively and not get caught in 3rd and long.  GO VOLS !!!

I would say that spread is about right.  Makes it an upset coming for the pups. This will be a great test for us.

Agreed. The key to Georgia's defense is speed. The one thing that can negate that speed is a sloppy, wet field.
Georgia's D looks good after 2 games but I've seen some media picks saying UT won't even score a TD on them..
If I was Pruitt I'd sure let that O-line and the rest of the team hear about that which I'm sure they have and I'd let it stick in their craw till game time as motivation. I think the Vols will pull off the upset in a close and soggy mess.. Vols win 27-24

Our OL is >>>> than Auburn's., like night and day.  They only had 5 SEC starts coming back this year and an Akron transfer.  I am confident our offense will do bettter, potentially much better, than Auburn's  Our defense is also a bit better too IMO.

We legitimately have a chance at this game, and historically we have done well against uga.  Should be fun to watch.

With hindsight...are they really? Debatable.
