I don't have a clue. I wouldn't bet against it being Steel. If he hires the right staff, he would probably be no worse than the last three. The only problem I have with hiring a defensive oriented coach is that most of them seem to have teams that are challenged on the offensive side of the ball. As we saw this year, our league has changed into an offense oriented league. That probably would not bode well for the Vols. Do you think any of the G5 coaches would really come in make us competitive from the get-go? You think I want coaches fired. I do not. It just kills the program and sets it back multiple years. Especially if you make the wrong hire. I just want us to get back to challenging UF and UGa yearly in the East. Lose to any of the rest of the East teams, and you should be on the hot seat.

As obnoxious as it sounds and far out.. Peyton Manning.. He's a VFL, he could amass any coaching staff he wants and could most likely compete with the likes of Bama in recruiting.. Who wouldn't want to play for Peyton? Yeah it's a stretch but from what I've seen of sub par candidates so far, I'd take Peyton if he's up for trying to put out dumpster fires lol
