Tnphil, more evidence our expectation is occurring

Per FBscoop, Steele looking to hire Garner and Simon to D-staff positions
The former would be a homerun hire for the DL
The latter could be possibly an attempt to keep Henry T in the fold - though Simon has forgotten more about playing football and LB than Neids will ever learn

If the hires are made, just more evidence that Steele will be our coach next season in my view

The alternative is he will be given the defense and bring in an offensive minded HC

In other news, an AD announcement by week's end?

Yep...Would be good hires. We might have to round up some message board posters for them to have someone to coach however.

I will be surprised if Steele isn't the coach in 2021....And it might be for 2-3 years. If we are hiring a new coach then do it quick to work on the 2022 instate class or let Steele have it.

I like those hires. I do NOT like the idea of Steele being an interim and throwing away a season.
