Bleah.  He could at least have gone outside the SEC.

So he is from Collins Hill.  That's the HS my nephew and niece attended.  They are a a NE Atlanta powerhouse.  I attened a playoff game there several years ago, I believe it was the quarterfinals, and each team had 4-5 D1 prospects.  It was really entertaining.  At that level you can really see the difference between the D1 athletes and everyone else.  Their opponent had  DL committed to Clemson that basically just camped out in their backfield all night.  The game was decied by another D1 commit returning a punt for at TD.  Then the Collins HIll QB, who was a non-P5 commit, threw an int to end it.  Best HS game I have ever attended by a mile.

This kid supposedly grew up a Vols fan.     His parents supposedly both graduated from UT.

With the announcement the way he did it, it sure seems that he made it clear to UT that he wasn't interested.

I hate that because quite a few folks thought that he may have been better (skill-wise) than Simpson.

As it stands now, our recruiting board is like a deli counter and we are just calling the next number from the wheel. Getting the team on the field for spring practice can't get here quick enough to allow HC Heupel the opportunity to show the plan for his offense and recruits to see what he has been talking about.
