Can't remember a better one....Two well coached teams with talent out the a$$...both with shooters...both with great inside play. Both giving 110% effort. Neither team deserved to lose that game.

Lot of fun to watch.

But can you imagine TN being in UCLA's shoes and being THAT close and losing like that?  Idk if we'd survive it.

Final Four Saturday: one of the worst Final Four games you’ll ever watch followed by one of the best ever.

Timme picked up his fourth foul with a little over four minutes to play in regulation (iirc) and UCLA never really went at him after that. He played most of the last 8 minutes and the closest he came to his fifth foul was when he took the charge at the end of regulation.

If Cronin can keep this group together, the Bruins will be a really good team next year, too.

I think UCLA would have given Baylor a better game, but who knows.  Baylor looked tough.

Of course a big part of that is that they were just "on".  You don't start out hitting 5/5 on 3-pointers and not say you weren't a bit lucky.

But all credit to them.  That was a beat down.

Baylor was my pick to win it all before they shut down for COVID. But they just didn’t look the same when they came back. Clearly they rediscovered their mojo in time for the postseason.

A case can be made that they’re one of (if not THE) the best teams of all time. They just completed one of the most dominant tourney runs ever, and they probably would’ve gone undefeated without their 3 week pause.

I just gotta believe playing in the WCC hurt Gonzaga. They are a legitimately really good team. But if they played in a P5 conference that undefeated streak would be way harder to get. It just isn't the same as playing in a conference where you have to be ready every night. Just wish the SEC was more competitive in basketball than they are some years. A lot of other "football" conferences and schools don't seem to have any trouble.
