Huge game today.  With regional sites being awarded in a couple of weeks (earlier this year so Covid protocols can be prepared for) it would be hard to deny UT a bid to host given series wins over Vandy, LSU, and Florida.

Absolutely.  

We're in, as long as we get to Hoover, and that's pretty much assured already.  In 2019 it took 8 SEC wins to get to Hoover.  We are already at 10.

I mean you don’t think we’ve already pretty much locked up a host site? We’re ranked anywhere from 3-5, depending on the poll. Even with a loss today, we shouldn’t drop more than 3-4 spots. I would think we’re pretty solidly in the top 16, unless there are other factors at play (stadium capacity, TV ratings, etc.).

No, because it's a lot more than just winning.  Had we won the Vandy series it would have been hard for the NCAA to pass up UT based solely on play on the field.  Now we'll have to have a great financial bid and prove we can meet covid protocols with the facilities we have.  And we can still be a top 16 seed and not host. 

No guarantees at this point.
