Not nearly as embarrassed by Kiffin's actions as I would be if I went around posting stuff on messageboards when I had no clue what I was talking about.

kiffin is quite a character.....but offering a 13 year old? what is next? He hasn't been offered http://www.govolsxtra.com/news/2009/jun/30/berrys-brother-has-long-way-to-go/Evan, who also has a twin brother, Elliott, spoke to a reporter at a recent track meet, James Berry said, and the topic turned to Tennessee.
"They found out he was Eric's brother," James Berry said. "They were asking them about Tennessee. The conversation turned to Evan, and he said he wanted to go to Tennessee."
According to his father, Evan answered a follow-up question by saying he was committed to Tennessee.
Evan and Elliott Berry have been frequent visitors to UT practices when in town to visit their older brother, although NCAA rules prohibit a school from offering a scholarship until a prospect is registered with the NCAA Eligibility Center.

ESPN says Evan Berry told Rivals.com on Monday that he was committed to the Vols. http://myespn.go.com/blogs/sec/0-7-94/Commitment-from-a-13-year-old-is-absurd.html

Look, dumbass - he may have said he is commited in his mind, but there hasn't been any offer for him to accept. An offer can't be made until a prospective student/athlete's junior year of high school. Did you bother to read the stories? Let me link you to another one, and carefully and slowly read the third paragraph: http://blogs.ajc.com/recruiting/2009/06/30/eric-berrys-brother-13-commits-to-tennessee/You Georgia fans really need to be concerned about all of the smoke coming out of Memphis right now concerning a player you signed, rather than what is happening with an 8th grader. That smoke could very well turn in to fire. Pot meet kettle, people who live in glass houses, insert your favorite hypocritical saying here.

Lane has pulled the wool over the eyes of a once proud university and it's fanbase with his wild antics since day one. And none of you seem the least bit concerned he's turned UT into the laughing stock of the SEC. It's change you wanted ....well it's change you got! I haven't seen such a gullible bunch since Obama's election......oh, but wait......didn't he carry Tenn?

Sour grapes! Marlon signed with the school he felt most comfortable with. It happens........remember Grant, Davis.......and many other Georgia boys stolen away by Fulmer and Co. Move forward my friend....that's why God put eyes in the front of your head.

And it's also "quite possible" that you guys paid for Marlon Brown- "as far as you know". And btw, McCain carried Tennessee by a larger margin than any other state. But nice try, sport.

No, I am saying that there is some smoke there and were I a UGA fan I would probably be more concerned about what is going on in my own back yard than something that has been misrepresented about another school. No sour grapes here. I really don't give a rat's ass what Marlon Brown wants to do. That's his decision to make. I'm all for free choice, which is a right we all as Americans have, or at least we do for now, anyway. On the other side, Lane Kiffin made no "offer", and in fact no offer can be made for 3 more years, yet. Read the story, and read it slowly. My point is that we all, Tennessee, UGA, UF, whoever - live in glass houses. That thing about pointing fingers is dead on.

please elaborate on that smoke......hard to see it from Athens. The fact is we lose many recruiting battles to border states. The difference here is Ga has many more D-1 prospects than Tenn. We can absorb the loss of a in-state #1 recruit much more easily than say Tenn or South Carolina. I understand your bitterness. But for someone who doesn't give a rats this one seems to be stuck in your craw. As far as our backyard.............for once there is silence in the Classic City.....no runs, no drips, no errors.......and no arrests....knock on wood.
