please elaborate on that smoke......hard to see it from Athens. The fact is we lose many recruiting battles to border states. The difference here is Ga has many more D-1 prospects than Tenn. We can absorb the loss of a in-state #1 recruit much more easily than say Tenn or South Carolina. I understand your bitterness. But for someone who doesn't give a rats this one seems to be stuck in your craw. As far as our backyard.............for once there is silence in the Classic City.....no runs, no drips, no errors.......and no arrests....knock on wood.
No, nothing is "stuck in my craw" and I am anything but bitter. Life is too short to be bitter over college football. I am simply amused that you would have to find your jollies going to another team's message board throwing out barbs for something that you really don't have a clue about. That's pretty sad, if you think about it. Have you read the stories? UT hasn't "offered" anything to the Berry kid. They can't offer him until his junior year. Your whole premise is based on something that just isn't the case. Smoke? Yep, there is smoke in Memphis with Marlon Brown. If you would take off your puppy colored glasses you might see it.

Damn, finally something to talk about in this LULL.........It's always fun to put some smack on another " DUMBASS" Georgia fan anyway. I just wonder how much talkin he will be doing when we see what their LITTLE PROJECT at QB does this year. As far as EB's little Bro is concerned........He is a kid that loves UT where his BIG Bro plays football at and wants to be like EB and play football here too. The sad thing is that he is just a little kid and should not be exploited by the media and rival fans, or any grown ups. Shame on Kiffin you say.....Bull shizzle......Shame on The media and DUMBASS FANS like this #badword# Stupidawg51.

Our little project will do just fine, however we do have options in three other Elite-11 QBs on our roster. Cox has been in the team’s offensive system for four years now and is a heady signal caller who will be surrounded by perhaps the best oline in the SEC and possibly the nation. Georgia won’t need him to win football games every Saturday; his role will be different than Matt Stafford’s was. Though a lot of pressure will be on him, Cox is capable of stepping right in and having success. JC should be warmed up by the time we hit Knoxville. I predict a long season for you vols starting with that trip to the Swamp. Urb and Bo have a special welcoming party planned for ya. I'll be back for the implosion.

Not suprised you would live vicariously through Urban Meyer, since your coach is firmly implanted as the biggest underachiever in the SEC. Bet it sucks having to bail all those thugs out of jail every week, and then still not winning anything of significance.

I was merely pointing out the payback Meyer has in store for Kiffin and co. due in part to recruiting and that mouth of his. If going 82-22 with 2 SEC Championships in 8 seasons is underachieving then so be it. UT posted a 68-34 record with no championships save a single eastern division title. Seems the majority of the Volnation believed Fulmer was the underachiever after forcing one of the best coaches out of his job. Richt's closing of the borders had plenty to do with that decision effectively reducing the number of Georgia athletes that jumped the state line to play at the U of T. CMR is 6-3 vs. Tenn and going 3-1 in Knoxville. Unfortunately UGA happens to play in the same conference as Florida and LSU who just happened to have the stars align to secure 2 National Titles apiece in those 9 seasons. Furthermore, apparently your referring to last years troubles where we had 11 arrests and yes it did suck. Combine those off-field problems with the lack of leadership and an ungodly string of injuries then we find the root causes of our disappointing season. I would like to add that there have been ZERO off-field issues and no arrests in Athens this year. Although we have questions at the very least it seems we have our priorities in order.....................just saying.

Heady: Code for "he's smart, but he can't throw the ball 8 yards and get it within 5 feet of his target". And, no, I'm not making fun of a Dog. Teams I have been a fan of have had plenty of "heady" quarterbacks over the years. Fortunately there have been some very good quarterbacks mixed in there, too. A UGA fan using Urban Meyer and UF to gloat? That's pretty sad, but I'm not surprised that you would use it, given your history here.

He shouldn't have any problems finding AJ or Marlon down field with the security of that oline Searles has assembled. I think you all realize the seriousness of the impending game with Gators. You just don't piss off CUM without eventually playing a price. He's going to post 70 if he can. LK's 1st SEC showdown will be a memorable one to say the least. That is all.

They were going to hammer us anyway. Opposing fans get tripped up on UT and what is expected in '09 because of their gleeful hatred for Kiffin. All the guy has to do to keep the heat off for '09 is go to a bowl. The only noise that is going to get louder if we go 7-5 is the noise from opposing fans.

with our schedule..........and especially our "road" schedule, it may very well be UGA sporting a 7-5 record at seasons end.

How did that work out? Course the worst coaching job of all time was 2004 when a medicore UT team beat a Georia team that many Dawg fans said was the most talented team in UGAG history. That is the kind of stuff that got Fulmer fired. Didn't Richt suspend 3 players for Spring practice? Yes I believe he did. SOS different day.

stop digging or is the puppy in you just so used to digging you can't help yourself? that were streaming over the bridge with 8 minutes left in the fourth quarter when the dugs (aka dawgs) got there tails newspapered by Cut and Fulmer in 2006.....I can just see him talking smack before the game standing outside the varsity and then disappearing during the fourth quarter. Just my humble $2.35 a gallon observation

Yes that was UGA ranked #1 and despite the injuries and lack of leadership we still managed a win vs. UT ......which ain't sayin much and a 10 win season. And yes Richt did suspend 3 players for violating team rules.............but no arrests.

He has squandered a lot of talent, he is the biggest underachiever in the conference right now. Like I said, he is doing the same things that got Fulmer fired. With all of the highschool talent in Georgia I can't believe that you are satisfied with finishing behind LSU and Florida. I can't believe your dumb ass is bragging about having players suspended. "But not arrests"
