Superdog....please detail the 30 injuries and tell me what position and how long they were out.  The fact is your might have had 30 of some type of injuries during the year but who in the SEC doesn't these days?  Every game there is usually some OL or DL guys have some type of injuries.  None of your skilled players were out for any games.  The fact is your team underachieved last year after everyone hearing how awesome you guys were.  Hell our awful team even took you down to the last 4 mins of the game at your place.

As far as your comment concerning how hard it is to win a national championship...funny...other schools don't find it that hard considering the SEC has won the last 3 National Championships and no other conference in America can say that.  It isn't that hard to get to the National Championship if you take care of business.  Hell UGA started as #1 so the chips weren't stacked against them.  The year we won it, we started ranked in the mid teens and had to work our way up all season....including winnning games without our best RB.

do your own research, but i'll add this....UGA has 16 players that missed spring training because of off-season surgeries. The injuries were the major reason we failed to live up to exspectations but there were other factors. And in response to all you vols who think Richt is an underachiever because he's failed to win a Natl. Title......Tony Barnhart says and i quote in the era of the BCS, and we’ve had some version of it since 1992, there are simply too many variables beyond winning games that factor into a coach and team just getting a CHANCE to play for the national championship. You have two human polls and a bunch of computer polls that are combined and spit out a formula that puts two teams into the national championship game. There is simply too much luck and too much good timing involved for the national championship to be the standard we use to measure coaches. here's the link: http://blogs.ajc.com/barnhart-college-football/2009/07/31/coaches-should-not-be-judged-on-national-championships/?cxntfid=blogs_barnhart_college_football

I told you more than once to stop digging.  Someone calls you on your own BULL shizzle and you demand he do his own research?  You said the 30 like you knew the complete story but apparently that "fact" was as empty of thought as the rest of your drivel.

Dude, you gave up 135 points in your 3 losses last year. If you're losing a bunch of nailbiters, MAYBE you can use injuries as an excuse, but you got absolutely trucked in those games.  You also gave up 38 to Kentucky, and 21 to Georgia Southern (Georgia Southern!). Point of comparison: as bad as we sucked last year, we gave up no more than 30 in any single game (and that was to UF, one of the most prolific offenses in the country).  So while injuries may have played a small role, I think it's more likely that your defense just sucked out loud.

and i agree......our defense did suck.......but it a was directly related to the number of total injuries. If you don't practice a certain way, you're not going to get the mental edge and the physical edge that you need to be a championship football team.

Please...you lost all credibility with me when you said that 16 SPRING injuries caused you not to live up to expectations.  Please that is a load of crap....every team has Spring injuries but you get them back for fall practice and the actual games.  I ask you again, name the defensive players that you had missing in the Fall for the reasons you didn't live up to expectations.

just to name a few.......The Bulldogs lost defensive tackle Jeff Owens to a torn ACL just a few minutes into the opener against Georgia Southern, but he was far from the only one. Linebacker Marcus Washington also missed the entire season while recovering from shoulder surgery, while defensive tackle Kade Weston, defensive ends Roderick Battle, safety Quintin Banks and linebacker Darius Dewberry were among other key defensive performers who missed 3, 6, 12 and 4 games, respectively.

Excuses, excuses, excuses.
lol......not excuses dad...........just the facts......reality. But I'm sure you'll come up with plenty of excuses of your own for UT's shortcomings this fall.

You only listed 6....where are the other 10 that you claim y'all had?  And with as much talent as Richt has recruited over the years, you didn't have the depth to replace these 6?  If you are gone for the whole season, someone should have stepped in to fill those shoes...or I guess your Coaches can't develop the talent once they get them on campus.

No, no excuses.  The fact is that our former coach ran the program in the ground and he didn't recruit well during his last 5 years as the head coach.  You have never seen or heard any excuse from me, and you won't.

On the other hand, seems like making excuses is a sport of it's on with many UGA fans.

not all were on defense.....Sturdivant, Dobbs, Davis, Vance, Durham,..... injuries sidelined about 25 players (16 total surgeries)from most or all of Georgia’s spring practice. The good news – as Richt has happily pointed out a couple of times in the past few days – is that when the Bulldogs next take the practice field as a team this summer, there will be “40 to 50″ additional healthy players on hand.  All of the injured players except two – WR Kris Durham and OL Josh Davis – are expected back by summer, when the team also will be joined by incoming freshmen.

http://www.ajc.com/sports/uga/bulldogs-hit-practice-field-107137.html

you obviously don't understand (or believe) the magitude of the total injuries (or excuses as you vols call them) UGA suffered last year.....and their repercussions.

Regardless of how "bad" you think it was or how bad it really was you will not find any sympathy here. We have had to suffer through our own injuries over the years. Its a part of being a fan.

Suck it up, put on your big girl panties and quit crying.

We don't.

And that's why this thread is over.
