Some things I already have on my radar:

1) Change the tab a the top left that says "Home" to "Board Index", so it's more clear about where it goes.
2) Change the default flash pixel sizes to the YouTube standard.
3) Fix the script so the * is automatically added if the post box is left empty. (This one will take a while.)
4) Add a link back to the front page.
5) Build a graphic FAQ.

I would like to have all of those done by 9/1 except for #3.

I guess an "empty message" isn't as important on a board like this, where all replies are viewed at once, not just the titles to the reply messages.  But it says it's an error for an empty message and won't post it.  Not a big issue, but for short replies it might be nice to allow an empty message; otherwise I can just type a single character.

The box at the top of the page goes off the page to the right just a little.  I'm using Firefox.  The last thing I see is the "n" in destination.

Also, probably not possible, but could you have a link to the "Other Links" (VS, etc.) at the top of each page?

As far as links, there is a links page on the front page http://volstothewall.comI need to work on getting a link back to the front page into the header. I may try to have a direct link to the links page in the header.

I get the same thing with the banner. But the rest of the board is perfect so it isn't a problem.

For the USAF, yes - all that they will allow.

It's either that or 800x600. This monitor isn't big and only has two settings. The board looks fine, it's just the banner that runs over the edge, and that's no problem.

Well that's awfully sweet of you, Barbi. It was great to meet you as well, and I hope to see you again at the next one, if not sooner . . . and I like the way you think re: droner. I just hope he doesn't kick and scream too much when the hussys get ahold of him.

Go to the "Profile" tab and then "Forum Profile Information" in the menu on the left side. At the very bottom, there is a Signature box... type:

I like that you're using a board template that's lite and fast to load. That comes in handy for those poor souls like me who are stuck in '95 and still using dial-up on their home computers.

It must be something with latency since you are so far away.

I DO NOT have them turned off in my Profile Preferences; they just disappeared all by themselves last night. Is someone tweakin' the HTML or sumpin'?

Nope, I can still see them. I haven't tweaked anything today except changing a few post counts.
