Sounds promising that they may help out some this year.

Hi folks...been a while since I posted but I've been lurking.  Anyway, I don't know about the rest of you but I am getting sick of
everyone  writing off the Florida game as a definite loss.  The games still have to be played!!  I just hope the players are not
buying into the crap.  Florida is not unbeatable, as Ole Miss proved last year.  Granted, it will be a struggle but they will play it
anyway!!!  Hope everyone has a great day!!!

I don't think that there is any "may help out" to it.  A lot of those guys are going to have to play out of necessity.  The talent level in the 3 upper classes is just not very deep.  We are going to see true freshmen on the field this year like we have never seen in the history of the program.

I guarantee you that the players won't walk into the swamp writing that game off. They will come to play, and the Gators had better do so as well, or they'll be in for a shock.

Especially the UF defense.  If they're not ready, Crompton may break a few Gator ankles or feet with his bullet passes.

While I'm not usually a Crompton basher, it just struck me as something that was begging to be said.

LOL... And... and... and... he'll probably hurt Joe Haden's feelings again after Haden cleans his clock on a scramble!

it's not impossible.....just improbable. it will be pretty hard to beat Florida in the swamp playing any number of freshmen. Not many have won there with upper classman.

I do hear that JC showed improvement yesterday.  Instead of bouncing passes 12 yards in front of his receivers, he was only bouncing them 7 yards in front.

It's hard to remember when the last time the talent pool was this shallow at UT. I'd have to say, with no disrespect to OldVol, that it would have to be when Majors took over for Battle in '77.
