Not much of protests going on in Huntsville. I think there were some small peaceful ones, but they didn't get much pub.
One thing affecting me is that I have two interns this summer, but they are both remote. One is in Chicago with her boyfriend, and we had to ship her a computer for her internship. They are on the South Side of Chicago and Fed Ex would not deliver to their address due to the "unrest". So she had to go to the FedEx depot and pick it up, no big deal, but it did delay her computer for a week. It got stalled in Nashville, and instead of holding it there and asking us what we wanted to do they sent it back to Huntsville with only a very terse explanation that said "cannot be delivered". I had to call them and ask why. They said it was due to protests and riots. I suspect they didn't want to put that in writing is why they didn't do a better job of explaining it. Corporations are so spineless....
