Title: Anybody keeping up with the Pro Day stats?
Post by: Clockwork Orange on April 02, 2014, 05:32:56 EDT
Rajion helped himself on the bench (28 reps) but his 40 was above 4.5. Supposedly one of the fastest guys on the team for the last 4 years . . . 4.53 and 4.58 on his two runs. The next best 40 was a 4.64 from Michael Palardy.

Michael. fizzleing. Palardy.

Goodness, our team speed in the Dooley/Kiffin classes was awful.

Yeah, that's a real eye opener.  And we still have 3 classes (or 3 1/2 counting redshirts) just like that to move through the system.  Kind of puts in perspective what a huge rebuilding job Butch took on.

Palardy's 40 was faster than Eric Gordons. He was faster than our entire secondary in 2012.

Thats why its a 4 to 5 year min rebuilding job instead of 2 or 3. Heck it may take 6 or 7 years to overcome the fall unless he processes a lot of players like Saban.

That's just mind boggling.

So why wasn't he a DB?   :naughty:

As I saw posted on TOS......When Palardy kicked the game winner against USCe he took off running down the field in excitement and nobody on the team could catch him.  :rotfl:
