With the luck Tennessee has had this Season,Vandy would beat Tennessee then lose to Wake Forest.

I told y'all...Vandy could be 8-4 and the world is coming to an end...the Zombie Apocalypse is upon us.  I got dibs on stabbing Mike Hamilton in the eye with a big sharp knife.

No.  The previous worst three-year stretch I could find was 1962-64 when the Vols went 6-16-1 (.261).  There were three different head coaches over those three seasons.

That's the second time 1962-1964 has come up. On the surface it bears a strong resemblance to 2008-2012. Both periods were about a decade removed from the school's most recent national title; both saw three coaches at the helm.

After 1964 it would be a decade before UT would have another losing SEC season. After 2012 . . . ?
