My good buddy Ray, Knoxville native and Vol fan has not been doing well lately. He looks like hell and has lost 30 pounds without trying. Long story short is they suspect he has pancreatic cancer which does not have a great survival rate. Ray is my best friend and we have know each other many years (22 now). He is as kind and genuine as they come and he has saved my butt many a time when I screwed up. He was my boss and he was the best I ever had bar none. The kind of leader and co-worker we all want to be around. He has an MRI scheduled for Monday. Please put in a prayer for him. It's going to kill me if he is sick with cancer. He and I have traveled the world together and I was always there for him and he had my six always. Thank You.

Ray, his family and friends will have my prayers. Close to 13 years ago, I was diagnosed with an auto-immune disorder involving my bone marrow and blood. At the time, medical litrature gave me 1.5-3years and I didn't know how long I had been affected with this disorder. I was added to many prayer lists through family  across the south and I will say I wasn't a Godly man at the time (if you were to look at me now, you might even swear I don't appear that way now). Only 1 in 345,000 people get this so there is no fund raisers, funded research or telethons. I don't know to explain this, but I will swear I could feel the prayers! I'm sold on prayers for the ill and infirmed.

I will pray for all as I said; but find as many prayer lists as you can and get Ray & family on their lists if you are able. I had a friend die of what you suspect might be ailing Ray when there was NO hope; two months tops. But, time has helped improve the oods now.

May God bless.
