We had talked about taking the kids to the Akron game. Of course after yesterday I didn't want to go. Both girls want to go to the game and are even excited about it. We gave them the choice of going to the game or picking something else to do. They picked the game. Who am I to tell them no? I wish I had some of their innocence.

I'm with granny kn this.  My fondest childhood memories are football games with my daddy (a lot which were losses).  It wasn't the product on the field that mattered to me for a very long time.

Take the kids, it will be a blast!

I kept going to Gator games after the 1979 season (0-10-1).

I asked a friend of mine who is a Gamecock fan why they kept going to the games when they were losing like 20 in a row. She said the kids really loved the excitement of the game and as a family, it was fun. So, like Lyn said, it's not so much the win/lose aspect, it's the memories your kids will take away of being with their family at the game. Have a great time and take some pictures.
