Couldn't agree more. If Dobbs had played more "we'd" be right there THIS year! If Dobbs had played more, he might be on IR with Worley given the quality of D-lines we faced and inexperience of our O line. Yes, I realize Dobb's mobility makes the O line look better, but the first 6 games had to help them develop. Or if Dobbs had to face all the quality D's we faced earlier, he might not look so good. USC jr and UK are pitiful on D, and it could be argued that we caught bammer off guard. For what can happen to a QB rushed into service under trying conditions, see Peterman.

Only FIVE power 5 teams have missed a bowl the past three years, and we're one of them? Damn. Just damn. Yeah, but keep in mind during that time we literally had a top five schedule in terms of toughness. I believe we were 1 or 2 all of last year and in Dools last year we were probably also top 10 or 15. Had we scheduled sisters of the poor last year instead of Oregon it's a bowl game. If anyone save Dooley is our coach in 2010-11, we go to a bowl also. What kept us out was a joke of a game against UK in 2011 and .... pick just about any game his last year. Better days are here....

Our guy gets flagged for a VERY questionable targeting call, and he'll miss the first half next week. Their guy literally KICKED JALEN HURD IN THE HEAD AFTER HE WAS DOWN, and it's just a personal foul and "play on". Understood, but there is not a specific rule that addresses kicks in the head, as funny as that sounds. But there should be...that's targeting for sure!

And now we've lost him for this first half next week. Could be HUGE. Relax. Mauty Mauk suxes ALMOST as bad as Driskell, we have a legit offense now, and Mizzou D, while good, is not so good as the gatah. WWFDT...

The fizzleer put his head in danger What the hell was Randolph to do?? Yeah, his momentum was going and he couldn't stop. It's like the guy slid into him. I do understand why they upheld it though. Intentional or not, it looked bad and Randolph definitely led with his helmet. Again, not his fault, but it just was a bad optic.

Other than the scores at the end by UK. As long as there is no letup in second half this is ours.
Honestly...if Dooley was still our coach, I would have a sense of dread! No joke...

They blocked a chippy FG to keep UF from wrapping it up. And then they blocked a punt to set them up for the TD to tie it. They held UF to a FG in OT and then won it on a TD.
Absolutely a devastating way to lose...and seriously almost makes you wonder if some gators aren't getting paid off. by gamblers...it's that head scratching.

BTW, I've been wondering- this kicker Townsend that we have committed for next year, does he punt too? Since we're losing Darr, and we already have freshman and sophomore kickers on scholarship, it would make sense. But I haven't seen a definitive answer. I'm gonna go ahead and say yes, since that's the only thing that makes sense.

Hopefully results in a close win for Muschump, which.... 1. Likely makes the OldBallsnCock more likely to retire 2. Keeps Muschump around 3. And yet still undermines confidence in him.... So, with reluctance....go gatah!

And reading that article, it does sound like a serious case of NCAA over-reach, but at the same time I have no doubt that Shalalah has political connections and very likely used them. Regardless of the pros and cons of the NCAA's botched investigation of Miami, it has clearly limited their ability to lower the hammer. I think Emerich should step down. He's a close personal friend of Saban, so that would make me tremendously happy.

I just think there's no way to predict what the NCAA will do these days. The UNC situation would be absolutely stunning except that it's not unprecedented. We're seeing years and years of fake classes, academic fraud, players even complaining they were cheated out of an education-- and not a damn thing is going to be done about it.
Of course, they've never let up like that on UT-- so who knows what happens if there's fire to go with the smoke.
The NCAA is fangless these days, in spite of Mark Emerich having a rep of lowering the hammer. I have a theory about that.... If you look back a year or so Miami was caught red handed, in a big way. Keep in mind though, that many feel it's time to actually pay the players something. One vocal advocate of that is none other than the President of the USA himself (who one would think had more important matters to jaw about, but....). So the NCAA got hammered on some technicality with the Feds. They sat in on a deposition of the imprisoned Miami alum and apparently violated some federal rule or other. I suppose the Feds can always say someone violated something or other....they have SO MANY rules. And who is the President of Miami? Donna Shalala...Secretary of Health and Human Services under Clinton. Politically connected to whatever Federal judge or Attorney General or whatever hammered the NCAA for sitting in on the deposition. Not to mention the Administration would love to do her a favor since the President thinks NCAA athletes should be paid anyway. So that's my theory...politically the NCAA has more or less been told by the Feds to back off, because their is such a big move to pay the players. Which is a damn shame, IYAM. http://www.sbnation.com/college-football/2013/1/24/3907888/ncaa-miami-investigation-scandal

...In front of Ayres Hall. Could they have possibly picked a more out-of-the-way location? Maybe Finebaum doesn't want anyone to find him. I hope there are some good signs for him. His head actually resembles a penis with ears. He needs to put on a head sized condom and cover that ugly thing up.

Sounds like he is in for next season for sure, but that might be the last. He will be 70 next year, so why not hang it up?
That's how it sounds anyway. I suspect he's going to give it one more year, and if things go really well he may stay, but that's just MO.
