I was at the 1989 game at bammer when Andy Kelley came in for Sterling Henton.  We lost big, but it was a turning point for our program.  We won or tied like 10-12 in a row from that point, and that 1989 season was really the beginning of our rise to national prominence in the 90s.

Just saying we might indeed point back to bammer 2014 (and this game) as a turning point.

I think the turning point was the UCLA game earlier that year.

That was a big game also, but we were out-classed by bammer with Henton as QB, but when Kelly came in we played much better.  And it was up and out from there on...
