Sabans ego + Kiffins ego =Major blowup....

Edit: I've always said Kiffin can get more jobs for doing nothing better than anyone I've ever seen. I can see it now....he goes to Bama as OC....Saban retires in 2-3 years and Kiffin gets the job. Don't laugh!

Personally, I think this would be an excellent hire for Alabama. Kiffin did well enough as an OC and he's an excellent recruiter. Now, could he recruit without bending and breaking the rules? That would be the interesting part. I'm all for it just to see if he can land Alabama under the NCAA's jail in a few years.

I do agree with Phil, though. I said a couple weeks ago that I just can't see those two working together. Kiffin may have fared okay under Carroll, but that was different. Now he's had a taste of being the top dog. It's hard for a type A personality to take orders from someone. Kiffin's ego paired with Saban's control freak nature is a combination that is almost certainly going to end with a spectacular fireworks display.

P.S. I'm a Saban admirer, but if he hires that POS, he can KMA.

I was NOT impressed with his play calling at all.

I will give him credit for the development of the QB and some good game plans (the uga game plan was totally different than what we had been doing and was effected as heck) but in game play calling was just plain weird at times, and was demonstrated repeatedly at SCw.
