It happens every year. Georgia State in 1991 had a worse record,they had like 6 regular season wins and won Their Tournament. As long as they come from a one-bid league, it doesn't hurt. In fact, it could help. If we make it in, and they end up in our region, it might bump us up a seed line. If you're one of the ones that is knocked out you probably aren't in the position to be griping about the winner of a lowly conference getting in. I love the fact that NCAA D-I basketball is a sport where every single team in the nation has a theoretical chance to make it to the Big Dance and win a national championship after the regular season is complete. (Well, that isn't technically true since some conferences don't include all their teams in the conference tournament...but still...)
