That was an impressive performance by Driskell, unfortunately. Phil Steele predicted Florida would win the East this year, but I didn't want to believe him. They have South Carolina at home and may be able to beat Uga.
In short, UF may be better than expected this year.
We still could have beaten them without a couple breakdowns on D that gave up some long plays, but I think they are, unfortunately, the better team.

FSU probably will belt them, but I think they take USC at home and have a really good shot at UGA. Uga has looked sluggish this year more than once. |

Well, if you're referring to my main point that UF is much improved and might win the East, I do think that. The good thing is that we will find out one way or the other.

Shoulda beat em. This could be the best chance Dooley ever has, and we blew it. This is the worst UF team in recent memory, they're basically in rebuilding mode. For once we have the weapons to do it. And the STILL beat us by 3 scores. This shizzle ain't good enough.

I completely agree that we could have beaten them and I am really disappointed that we did not. But I am not going to obsess over the streak with them. We will beat them when we beat them. There is a lot more to Tennessee football than how we play in one game. |
